Yes, I guess I am a critical thinker and actually have been diagnosed as being "hyper-vigilant" which simply means that I am both a heightened sense of awareness and empathy, an ability I've tried to use as a force for good.

Thanx for stopping by again, and commenting. I originally wrote that piece for publication in our local paper. I live in such a backward area that I suspect that folks here just don't know about this stuff. Then I realized that I'm probably not the only soul that lives in the sticks, with Internet access, and thought I'd share.
