Pretty good at 'standard' internet marketing but this Web 2.0 thingee has left me way behind.
Time to play catch up and start making my sites more interactive with the new wave of Web2.0 savvy marketers now coming into the marketplace.
So who am I and where do I come from?
I'm a rock dweller from the Isle of Man. If you open your map and check the UK you'll what appears to be an ink spot in the middle of the Irish Sea, half way between England and Ireland. That's the very rock I'm sitting on.
Father of 3 and Grandad to 4. (If I'd know that grandchildren were so much fun I would of had them first). Married to a long suffering wife Meg. Jeez, 39 years married this year.
I need to lie down.
I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can about Web 2.0 and start implementing it as soon as possible.
The Avatar will tell you that to get where I am today has been similar to the life of a crash test dummy. I've certainly made my fair share of mistakes.
Unlike the 'normal' internet marketing, I know that I've got into the right school, first time, learning about the next step in my business.
I wish everyone the best of luck with their ventures and perhaps one day our paths might cross.

Perched on a rock in the middle of the Irish Sea
It's all part of the grand scheme of things.
The learning never ends.

It seems to be the making of a great social site.
Congrats to Jack, Sam and the rest of the Authorities.
I better stay sweet because I'll be pestering the heck out of them over the coming weeks:-)

I really can't say I like Web2 so far. I have sites on Squidoo, Facebook, Myspace. A few others.
I like Squidoo. I am not a big time "interacter" so I don't get much out of Facebook and Myspace.
I like this one though.
