- Hi, my name is Jana Cerna. I live in Bratislava, Slovakia. Nothing in my live was quite "normal". At the age of 20 I took off to Belgium, finished my veterinary studies in Ghent and went to try my luck in the UK. After having worked for couple of years as a vet I decided that I was fed up with civilization, packed my backpack and hopped over to Africa where I spent six years living a 'Robinson Crusoe' style of life, making my home in a tree house, managing local musicians and trying to pursue my idealistic dreams of building a paradise on earth. Gosh, I could write a book about what all happened there! It was a happy although sometimes a very trying and tough time of my life.
One day my money run out and so I returned back to civilization which I didn't miss by the way... vet work in the UK, Portugal, then back to the UK. Finally I had to stop working as a vet, I developed serious allergy to cats and rodents.
So what next? I had an offer to teach Dutch-interpreting at the University in Slovakia. It was a challenge so I went for it. Then it was India, Philippines... you get the picture, if you'd ask me where's my home couple of years ago I'd scratch my head thinking hard. Now I finally know it, it's back to my roots: Slovakia... and I sort of settled down.
I went into internet marketing about 2 years ago. How I got to it? Well, I was looking for some kind of living that would allow me to travel for prolonged periods of time. Heh, I still cannot come to terms with settling down forever (what a scary word), I still have that dream of building a paradise on earth, one day, somewhere... And, I love challenges of any kind. Internet marketing was one of them. So here I am, glued to the computer 12 hours a day...

While I was mesmerising about the past, I was surprised how many characteristics our life flows have in common. Seen many parts of the world too, although been too attached to my roots to completely free myself from them.
