- It is always "About Us" We work together. Gladys was born in Alberta, Canada and moved to South Dakota at the age of a year and a half. Our church was alway a high priority in our lives and I was saved at an early age. My church family paid my way to my first year of college.
Dean's father was in the military so Dean was born in 29 Palms, California. As Dean's father was a pastor Dean was born again at an early age. He lived in the midwest most of his life but went to school at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC then transfered to Pillsbury Baptist Bible College where he met and married Gladys. Dean finished college in Texas and became assistant pastor in Oak Lawn, Illinois. He later pastored several small churches in Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois and Indiana. After 25 years of pastoring we worked in children's homes in North & South Carolina. We are retired and make our home in Mauldin, SC. We have been married 43 years.
When Dean retired from full-time ministry he worked at various jobs and started writing songs and poetry. After he had his stroke in March 11, 2007 he was disabled and lost, to a great extent, his ability to sing. He became dispondant because he felt he had no purpose in life. One day God inpressed on his heart to write poetry which has given him real purpose in life.

OUR BUSINESS:
We bought a website in April of 2006 to help suppliment our retirement.
We started to sell Pepper Spray because Dean saw how effective it was when he experienced it in training for work at Prairie Correctional. The income from our website has become helpful since Dean had the stroke. I am able to work from home and still care for him.
Recently we decided to expand our site to include Home Security.

We believe everyone should have a way to defend themselves.
My husband became aware of Pepper Spray when he worked at
Prairie Correctional, a state penitentiary .
He found it was very effective.
It put us on the ground vomiting, choking, eyes tearing and burning. We had to be LED AWAY to a recovery area. I would, and I do, trust my life to the POWER OF PEPPER SPRAY. It will disable and render an attacker helpless. I GIVE MY WORD.
Although guns are an effective deterent.
We choose to use nonlethal Pepper Spray for our Protection.

and let us exalt his name together.” (KJV)
John 15:13 “Greater love hath no man than this,
that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (KJV)
“O magnify the Lord with me...exalt His name together.”
Praise the Lord with thankful hearts in clear and cloudy weather.
This is the task of all His own; to lift God's name on high.

John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (KJV)
There's a place for tolerance but the truth we must proclaim.
There's no other way to God except through Jesus' name.
Do all roads lead to Rome? Even maps shows that's not so.
You will never see the Father unless Jesus Christ you know.

It is Depressing
It is Depressing

to live with God eternally.
By Christ's blood the way's been made.

I nursed my mother back from her stroke in 2003 and remember clearly the long days of therapy and pain she endured. How wonderful for you both that you are working together and building a new beginning. Congratulations to you both!
