Hi everyone , I have been selling on Ebay for 5-6 years and make my living doing so. I am expecting my 1st child in 3 weeks and knowing this was coming I started a website a few months ago. I have paid to have my website SEO optimized.( I guess fix all the errors that were hurting it ) I need someone who is willing to teach me how to break into this market. I dont know aht any of this means as far as link bulidng and so forth. I just need a helpful person who is kind enought to help me give me a basic "education" on what I should be doing to get my site traffic . I look forward to anyones reply. Thanks.
There are actually several ways. For one, you could go on an article marketing blitz and target the long tails for each eyeglasses. You should be doing some competitive analysis and see what and how your competitors are getting backlinks. Set up some funnels from parasite hosts and use social bookmarking as well as other social platforms...basically build a very large funnel.
I hate to sound so generic but if I had this site, I would focus on getting backlinks for your long tail keywords.
I (personally) concur with Leo... I would also add, however... that you'd consider "axing" the Account and Log-In
access [tabs] (they're 'distracting') and make 'account access' a follow-up to your 'back-end' offer instead. And,
this 'back-end (or) shopping cart close' offer might include a 'free' un-announced bonus, e.g. a "glass pouch"
with such order.
And, along with their (customer) free pouch offer, you might offer a few 'other' options for up-selling at same
time... e.g., "Grab a complete glass cleaning kit" or "Get a complete glass cleaning kit, when you pick up
equivalent 'filtered' glasses of the same style (of which they just purchased.)"... Or, something like that!
Further, Offer an "free" eBook on "Eye-ware" in your right-hand column (each page). Hire an outsourcing writer
to develop a 20-30 page report on anything relating to eye-glass frames and styles, simply by 'gleaning' the
copy form most of your product manufactures line ad-copy.
Place some of such copy on all of your pages (home and sub-pages) -in order to incorporate some keywords!
Autorespond deliver these eCaptured folks, along with your buyers, in your [a] autoresponder. Follow-up
with these data-based clients with additional eye-ware education with subsequent 'soft' sales offers every
3'rd - 5th delivery thereafter.
Make some sort of 'Guarantee!' on your homepage and subsequent Shopping Cart close page.
Your webpage has great potential with 'keyword string copy' placed in your article, social and bookmarking
submittals... You'll be kickn' it for sure. Remember, if you sell twice your current volume, you're selling 100%
better than before. But, can you do better than that!?... Of course you can!
