Well it seems I get traffic in the single digits, I just started, trying to feel things out.
Made my first Utility Post, good stuff.
Since starting I've tried to go once every two days. I feel like the more traffic and interaction I get, the more I'll post. it just seems like the natural flow of things. When you have people commenting and asking questions, it give you food for thought and a reason to post stronger and faster. You also get to know people through social sites and interact and find more facets of your niche to talk about. Joint ventures is a subject with thousands of facets, I only know a handful, but when I get more interaction, I'm sure I'll be pushed to explore more.
It's also a little harder because it's personal blog. As a JV broker, it's a personal game to interact with people naturally to discover problems and solve them. So for that, I try to post whenever I have something to say on top of posting for my niche (which I'm still trying to narrow).

Do you have a schedule and stick to it? No
Do you post whenever you have something to say? No
Not often enough, and I know I must make time to do it.
The problem I find is that when I do post it can take me a while to actually get the post down how I want it. Though in my defence the blog was originally meant to be an ecommerce site for boat chandlery and stuff. Unfortunately the the company I was affiliated to took down their affiliate program just after I had created the blog which kinda took the wind out my sails.
However, I'm now starting to look at it again so I do need to start posting more and more regularly.
I tend to use twitter because It is quite fast to post a sentence on there, whereas ny blog take a deal longer. Well at least it seems that way to me when I'm doing it.
I mix a posting schedule with posting when I have something to say. My target is 3 posts a week and I try to make them good and meaty. I generally prefer to post something that's of value than post for the sake of posting.
Having said that, both Utility Poster and Blog Talk Monitor are great at giving me ideas for posts. And when all else fails I hit the forums. When I find a question I can answer I turn it into a blog post.
Depending on the blog I tend to post up to a couple three times a week, although it has been known to be sporadic. Some of my blogs get traffic, some not so much so I post a little less on them and let the engines catch up.
One of my problems is I have 20 or so registered blog domains and only so many hours in a day. A few are for links, like my article directory, I'm thinking about weaning down to 4 or so. (I'm already killing 7)
I don't really have any adsense blogs though. I do have adsense on a few, too much on some (any could be too much).
I don't really have a fixed schedule like I should, I post more when I have something to say.
ASC has taught me a lot more about posting regularly as well.
Diane,
I'd love to follow the development on your blog re: monetization (with Jack)... as you've been putting some great effort into your programs and it seems that many a folk would have (and do) given up many moons ago. It would be cool if your movement into better cash-flow from you blog could be witnessed and otherwise reviewed in this forum pursuant to your progressions thereof.
Oh, and welcome back!!!... It appears that you and I took a leave of absence over the same period of time and found ourselves back amongst beautiful friends at the SMC home... Keep the fires burning Diane!
Typically, I post whenever I need to post. I do have a couple blogs where I stay fairly regimented though. My internet marketing blog is once a week. I think that quality means much more than the 500 word cereal posts that every other blogger seems to be in love with.
Plus, the less you post, the more you can promote.....and we all know how important it is to promote....
I run a company, in part providing Business Blog services... and don't post enough. Once a week I post on SEO/SEM, CMS, and Conversion marketing techniques.
