I just did a post on a new GFC directory. Google Friend Connect is picking up some steam, and now there are even directories of blogs that are GFC enabled.
Why?
Because the more groups you join, the more people see your pretty face, click on it, and see your links, for one.
It's also a new way to discover new sites/bloggers.
So here's a two step process:
1. Go to the Friday Traffic Report and join the GFC community. (Right sidebar midway down.)
2. Get your own GFC set up and list it here at Social Marketing Central by replying to this post with your URL where we can find and join your group.

@ChrisLang - I was excited about GFC until the plugin started to crash my blog. The problem seems to have worked itself out - but I still wonder if people coming to my blog are able to see it correctly. I have thought about removing it many times - I still might. What has kept me from removing it is the potential benefit in the future.
