Hi Nicholas some good stuff there, and the Ipod glove looks good

the Zeppelin Dock speaker system does well in uk plus you have the ipod jacket with controls on the arm

Croydon, Thanks for your kind words about my blogs. I have five of them, just added a Guitar HubPage. Trying to find the niche that will rise to the top, and doing a bit of adsense, Yahoo search marketing and direct-linking.

One of my friends is Jonathan Volk, he is a Super Affiliate making over $170,000.00 per month. I am getting some help from him once in a while. I'm still learning Social Networking, and how I have a website, but until I can figure out how to change the landing page from The Wealth Dr. of Beverly Hills, it will be static for awhile.

I downloaded Chris's e-book yesterday, hoping to glean some ideas for Social Marketing from it. Thanks for being helpful to a newbie! Respectfully, Nicholas

do some research there lots online ways to check whats selling

google insight
google trends
yahoo trends
ebay pulse

etc so it removes the shot in the dark syndrome

and the reason hes making 170,000 a month is he has a big list and prob been working at it for years, and what used to work may not work now

and if hes earning that much then im sure id have heard his name in last 8 years, and this is first time i have Ive heard John reese, Patric Chan, people like that

dont just find a product and then say who do i sell it to should be the other way round

Croydon, Thanks for your comments, yeah Jonathan is really big on PPC, Google is fronting him $30,000.00 per month in click-budget, he just pays it off with a check every 30 days. He started with someYahoo and MSN search marketing, gradually added adsense when these were profitable.

It seems that if I am to really break-out, I will need to start multiple domains, each with landing pages with sufficient content to bring the eyeballs in their direction, and tweak, tweak, tweak the keywords. Just learned that I needed meta-tags and photo-text that helps the search engines find my sites, It's like the Wild West sometimes, start a campaign, and wait for the clicks.. Respectfully, Nicholas

what works for search engines now is external linking text and content

take for instance my main blog which is under my name David Lee venters

type that in Google and I own the first page and most times all of page 2 although that fluctuates

look at properties that are high up

mashable, myblog log, Digg, facebook etc

its anchor text linking to your site that matters, yes when i started back in 2000 meta tags and on site keyword s worked

and if you have a budget of 30,000,00 to spend on ppc then go for ppc , but if he earns that amount in ppc he doesnt have to keep ahead of organic seo methods

what works now are using social sites because the search engines like Google know that they prouduce content daily, so when new stuff is posted they spider it

look at google when i started their were no adwords, adsense it was just a traffic site

now there promoting Google bookmarks , doesn't that say something first they just had a traffic model then they started moneterizing it with Google adwords and now promoting bookmarking

If your after single quick hit products make your money and go check out bloke called Howie Schwartz, he uses squeese pages but he uses video as well as content, but he also uses things like 80,000 bookmarking accounts etc

just start simple start a blog under your name , talk about you, your other blogs etc , comment on blogs and start getting traffic back

I have a cd by the PPC master Perry Marshall and even hes saying ppc is getting harder

I started in marketing online by attending a seminar with Corey rudl and he said something which is true today take bits and peices from lots people and mold it into your own system and way doing things

but u need to start with a niche

you have done something on guitars , ipods

take time expanding your ipod blog

but just cause some guy is saying use ppc and has a budget of that much doesnt mean hes not getting the conversions he was a year ago

Yeah, the iPod Blog and the Diet and Weight Loss blogs are getting more page views than the others.

Have you used HubPages, where they share revenue from adsense ads and Kontera etc revenue with you?

I have started a 'The Guitar HubPage', to see if adsense and Kontera affiliate income can be produced. They place ads around your text, and with enough traffic this may help my bottom line.

Nicholas I use hub pages for my technical stuff like mini notebooks and computers

look up Tiffany Dow she is an expert on Squidoo lenses and hub pages and has done an excellent set of you tube videos on organic traffic from these properties

she has a weight loss site to , and is always twittering about her weight loss, and Nicholas call me David Croydon Social marketer is a name Ive used because my real name has been banned , plus now Croydon social marketing is top for that phrase in Google just from this site, and is town where Im from in SE London

and Nicholas I have found personally although I make some money from my lenses hubs etc the main thing is to get them to my money pages blogs etc
