Social Marketing Central

Social Marketing Central!

What prompted me to post this is the OnlyWire service. It doesn't seem to be working for several weeks now. Does anyone else use it and how as it been for you? I think it stopped working for me around mid Feb. I can login to all of my accounts individually but nothing happens when I use onlywire to try to submit to them.

Before signing up with onlywire, I was using http://socialposter.com/. I know that there is also http://www.socialmarker.com/. I guess I will have to go back to using one of those two.

Actually, I'd be 'real' curious as to what Jack thinks about the existing "mass" delivery systems. I've had terrible luck with these services. I attempted to load my clients music product through TubeMogal and TrafficGeyser and the compression and time it took to address each account login just wasn't worth the efforts. And, SocialMarker didn't seem to address the login time and subsequent review each account(s) in order to make sure that each and every element was indeed submitted correctly.

I find Only Wire works on certain sites that don't break frames. Like Squidoo Lenses don't work, they are frame breakers. It may be in your settings for only wire, mine too for that matter. I'll check in to that.

Five minutes? Really? It never took that long before. I'll try just letting it sit in an open window for ten minutes and see if anything gets posted.

"SocialMarker didn't seem to address the login time and subsequent review each account(s) in order to make sure that each and every element was indeed submitted correctly." this is why I decided to try openwire because I always had to change how the tags were entered for each site since not all work the same way. For the two weeks that openwire worked for me it was great because everything got posted correctly with no extra work on my part.

"I find Only Wire works on certain sites that don't break frames." I will try the frameless bookmarklet, see what happens.

excuse me what is the result you all are trying to acheive with this "bookmarking" ?
it seems to me, forgive me please, like a "wild goose chase" that offers little reward
I don't think anyone really "needs" bookmarks to find things on the internet
and when someone "bookmarks" my website it doesn't preclude they'll ever return
please enlighten me to the value of this "bookmarking"
as of now I don't really see any....

Roger,
Actually, if you're not using bookmark techniques you are missing out on a
"ton" of organic listing positioning on Google and Yahoo. I've moved from page 5 to page
'1' within 24 hours hence bookmarking of pertinent Keyword Theme(s). Don't discount
social bookmarking. Remember, you don't really care (in many instances) who
bookmarks, you want Google, Yahoo and MSN to see you and drive your relevant
rankings ever higher... and, be sure to (or have a couple buddies) vote your
bookmarks occasionally.

m.

I gave up on onlywire several months ago. It reliably posted to less then a handful of sites. I also suspected it causing ban of my accounts on several sites. I submit manually since...

Mikhail,
... thanks for your "heads-up" on onlywire... please be sure to let us know if you score
on any other "reliable" distribution apps...

what's a "social bookmark"? this is obviously much different than setting up favorite websites on your personal computer... does this have to do with linking you website to others and others linking to you?
as you can see I'm clueless when it comes to this sort of thing...

Roger,
... get Jack's "Black-Book" located at right (column) on home page
and read it. Page 32 for Bookmarking basics.
