I write this, not for any marketing juice or anything as shallow as ...OK, it's a little shallow, but to perhaps engender a little jealousy.
Last night I witnessed a true Blues guitar hero put on an incredible show here in Butte.
Johnny Winter and his band simply ROCKED US TO THE BONE.
There's probably only a few here who even know the name, let alone witnessed his guitar genius live.
I stood ....er, rocked, only 20 feet from him as he took us on an unbelievable emotional ride through his music.

If your a fan of the Blues, then you should be a drooling fool by now.

Jack, according to the bio he's 64. I used to think that was ancient, now i can see it from here.

I had a similar night on Beale Street in Memphis years ago. I can't even remember the name of the band now - just that it was absolutely incredible blues music that just blew me away. As a blues fan living in Hong Kong listening to live blues in Memphis was like going to Mecca. Can't wait to do the same in Chicago..!

Well SRV and Johnny are both from Texas so it's no wonder that you heard some good stuff.
But Chicago Blues is still the best.
Now I'm jealous. (:>}
